About the Opportunity:
The Canadian Association of Mutual Insurance Companies (CAMIC) is seeking a volunteer student photographer for a short-term, in-person opportunity in Banff, Alberta.
This is an excellent opportunity for a photography student to gain hands-on experience in a professional, event-based environment while building their portfolio. The selected volunteer will photograph CAMIC’s Annual Conference, capturing images throughout the event for potential use on the association’s website, social media, and other communications materials.
Key Responsibilities:
• Capture high-quality photographs on site
• Document people, atmosphere, and key moments of the conference
• Perform basic photo selection and editing
• Deliver final images in digital format
Qualifications:
• Current student in photography or a related field (or equivalent experience)
• Interest in event and/or corporate photography
• Professional, reliable, and detail-oriented
• Access to own photography equipment
