Post Content: Applications are now open for cSPACE MADE HERE, a new t-shirt competition and community fundraiser designed to help artists keep making art in Calgary. We are inviting the local creative community to turn a t-shirt into a public canvas for local creativity. How It Works (No Spec Work Required) To apply, local artists are asked to submit: Three examples of their existing work. A brief response sharing what they want Calgary to see, feel, or value about creativity, creative places, community, and arts and culture. Selection & Prizes Finalists: Four finalists will each receive $500 to develop a t-shirt concept. Community Vote: The Calgary community will vote to select the winning design to be produced. Winner: The winning artist will receive an additional $500 (total $1,000 prize). Impact & Partnership We are collaborating with Local Laundry to produce a Canadian-made t-shirt as part of a pre-sale fundraising campaign. 100% of profits will directly support cSPACE programming.
