CAUSE Canada is seeking a temporary full-time Communication Design Intern to join our team. In this exciting role, the Communication Design Intern will work collaboratively with diverse colleagues in Canada and across the organization. The successful candidate will learn and hone their communication skills and, under the mentorship of the Communications Coordinator, develop skills to communicate with diverse and specific audiences using print and digital methods. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to get creative and contribute to projects that will build their portfolio for future opportunities.

Key Responsibilities include:

Contribute to the research, design, and implementation of key communication materials, including the annual report, fundraising campaigns, and other major projects.
Assist in developing and executing strategies to reach and engage new and existing audiences through print and digital communications.
Create visually compelling materials such as graphics, infographics, and other design assets to support CAUSE Canadaโ€™s campaigns and initiatives.

Qualifications:

This position is available as part of the Canada Summer Jobs Grant program and as regulated by the grant, applicants must be between 15 and 30 years of age and a Canadian citizen, permanent resident, or protected persons under the Canadian Immigration and Refugee Protection Act and legally entitled work in Canada.

Ability to work within a Christian framework and sensitivity to its various expressions across cultures and denominations.
Working to complete or completed Undergraduate degree or Diploma in Communications, Journalism, Public Relations, Marketing, or equivalent experience.
Detail oriented and experienced with digital design and print production
Excellent writing and communication skills
Advanced time management, planning, and follow through
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite
