Key Responsibilities
Digital Marketing & Content
β’ Assist in developing and executing social media strategy across platforms
β’ Create engaging content that tells our brand story
β’ Build our online presence and community engagement
β’ Assist in managing brand voice and visual consistency
β’ Assist in building and implementing video content strategy across platforms
β’ Build influencer campaigns and create long lasting partnerships with other creatives.
Inside Sales & Customer Relations
β’ Provide exceptional customer service via digital platforms when necessary
β’ Build relationships with customers and gather feedback
β’ Attend markets and trade shows under Modern Pastures
Operations Support
β’ Warehouse shifts 3 days a week (3-4 hours) - Open our Calgary mini-warehouse for customer pickups and in-person sales
β’ Assist with inventory management and order fulfillment
β’ Work closely with Marketing Coordinator & Founder on strategic initiatives
Essential Requirements:
β’ Under 30 years of age at the start of the job placement (IRAP employment grant requirement)
β’ a post-secondary student projected to graduate in 2026
β’ a Canadian citizen, permanent resident of Canada or person granted refugee status in Canada
β’ legally entitled to work according to the relevant provincial legislation and regulations
β’ Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
β’ Social media savvy with content creation experience
β’ Skilled in video creation and editing
β’ Self-motivated with ability to work independently
β’ Available for shifts at warehouse (3 days a week)
β’ Interest in food industry, sustainable farming, and/or entrepreneurship
Preferred Qualifications:
β’ Experience with social media platforms and management tools
β’ Experience with various video editing tools
β’ Basic sales experience or natural sales aptitude
β’ Marketing, business, or communications background
β’ Experience within the Agricultural Industry considered an asset
Personal Qualities:
β’ Strong work ethic and ability to work independently
β’ Adaptability and willingness to wear multiple hats
β’ Passion for quality food and supporting local businesses and farms
β’ Team player who thrives in startup environment
What We Offer
Competitive hourly wage of $18-25/hr pending experience
Flexible schedule with WFH options for most tasks

Schedule & Commitment
β’ Part-Full time: 30-40 hours per week
β’ Flexible weekday hours (aside from warehouse shifts)
β’ Required: 3 days/week shift (3-4 hours) at Calgary warehouse
β’ Growth opportunity: Expand role on business growth and performance
