Post Content: My dad's 60th birthday is coming up in October, and he lives across the ocean in Switzerland. Even though I don't see him much, we are extremely close. So I want to create a beautiful detailed painting that combines multiple favorite memories with my father into one unified, symbolic piece. It’s meant to be a deeply emotional gift for him and something that captures our journey, the incredible bond we share, and the guidance he has given me throughout my life.
The style I'm envisioning is painterly and expressive, similar to narrative realism or a storybook illustration — with a warm, nostalgic, and slightly dreamlike tone, however, I am open to suggestions as well as I am not the most creative person. The budget for the project is around $1000–$1500, but I’m open to discussing what’s fair based on the scope and the artist’s experience. I will provide images, examples, more details, etc. as well if interested. :)
