About the Role
Are you passionate about design, digital media, and creating content that connects with students? Join the SU marketing team as a Design and Marketing Assistant! You’ll help bring ideas to life across print, web, and social media, all while keeping our branding sharp and engaging. This is your chance to make a visible impact on campus life.
Term & Pay
Full-time summer contract (May – August 2025)
Pay: $17/hour
What You’ll Do
- Design and produce print and digital marketing materials.
- Prepare and format files for print production.
- Create and edit content for social media, web, and digital bulletin boards.
- Support social media campaigns from concept to execution.
- Organize and maintain shared files and the SU photo library.
- Ensure all materials follow SU branding and graphic standards.
- Research and develop creative content ideas.
- Provide general marketing and administrative support as needed.
What We’re Looking For
- Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator).
- Knowledge of design principles, typography, and print production.
- Experience creating digital content for social media (Instagram, TikTok).
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to proofread and edit content accurately.
- Photography and video production skills are an asset.
