Post Content: Are you looking to get experience and further your knowledge about the fine arts at a ceramics studio? We are looking for someone to join our team.
We are looking for a responsible clay enthusiast to help our studio part time. This position would consist of 5-15 hours a week. That time would be spent assisting instructors during our evening classes, basic studio tidying and clean up, and reclaim management. We are looking for someone who takes initiative, enjoys a collaborative setting and has great communication skills. If you think you fit the role, we would love to hear from you. Responsibilities:
-Basic studio clean up: Mopping, wiping down surfaces
-Reclaim clay management: pugging clay
-Assisting the studio tech with tasks
Requirements:
- Having a personal vehicle is highly recommended as we are in an industrial area with minimal transit.
-Having a background in clay and ceramics is beneficial
-Must know how to throw clay on a potters wheel
-Must be available on the weekends and evenings
Compensation: Minimum wage, $15/hr
Hours of work: 5-15 hours a week
