Hawak Kamay is a student-led art collective at AUArts dedicated to uplifting Filipino/x/a-identifying creatives. Our name, which means “holding hands” in Tagalog, speaks to our mission of fostering connection, support, and solidarity within the Filipino artist community. As a growing collective, we strive to provide opportunities for emerging artists to showcase their work, both within AUArts and beyond. Through exhibitions, markets, and creative events, we aim to build a space where Filipino voices are seen, heard, and celebrated.
