June is National Indigenous History Month, and National Indigenous Peoples Day occurs on June 21 - where we celebrate the history, heritage, culture, resiliency, and diversity of First Nations, Inuit and Métis peoples in Canada.

Creating a Land Acknowledgement is personal to every individual. Native Land has a great resource for building one.
While Calgary celebrates Pride Month in September, June is internationally known as Pride Month. During this month we celebrate the history, culture, and resiliency of the 2SLGBTQIA+ (Two-Spirit, Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Queer/Questioning, Intersex, Asexual) community.
