Then we have a great summer opportunity for YOU! 

The Youth Agriculture Speaking Championships presented by BURNCO provides youth with the opportunity to showcase their public speaking skills and their passion for agriculture by speaking about one of five different topics provided. 

The Calgary Stampede, Alberta Young Speakers for Agriculture and the Alberta Association of Agricultural Societies will be hosting three different preliminary competitions to give youth the opportunity to compete. The preliminary locations will be: Athabasca – NEW location in 2026! – on Saturday, June 27; and Olds and Calgary on Friday, July 10. The top 4 finalists from each preliminary and division will advance to the Finals at the Calgary Stampede on Saturday, July 11.
