About the Opportunity
The Canadian Association of Mutual Insurance Companies (CAMIC) is seeking student musicians for a short-term, in-person opportunity in Banff, Alberta.
Student performers will provide live music during CAMIC’s Annual Conference, helping create an engaging and enjoyable atmosphere for attendees. The conference will welcome approximately 400 guests.
We are particularly interested in:
• Classical or instrumental music during dinner to create a relaxed dining ambiance
• Live band-style music during the Sunday evening reception where guests may enjoy dancing
This is an excellent opportunity for music students to gain live performance experience in a professional event environment while building their portfolio.

Key Responsibilities
• Perform live music during the conference reception and dinner
• Help create a welcoming and enjoyable atmosphere for attendees
• Coordinate performance timing with event organizers

Qualifications
• Current student in music or a related field (or equivalent experience)
• Comfortable performing in a live event setting
• Professional, reliable, and enthusiastic
• Ability to perform solo or as part of a small group/band
