Post Content: Indian Oil and Gas Canada (IOGC) is anticipating hiring a Summer Student (specialization Communication/Graphic Design) within Communication and Executive Services. 

-We provide meaningful work in the oil and gas and federal government sectors through serving our First Nation clients and collaborating with industry, and other provincial and federal governments.
-We provide learning and training opportunities to build and strengthen our team's Indigenous Cultural Competency as part of our commitment to implementing the Truth and Reconciliation Commission of Canada's Call to Action #57.
-Our office is located on the scenic Tsuut'ina First Nation lands, connected to Calgary's ring road and close to local amenities like Costco, the Seven Chiefs Sportsplex, various restaurants and shops, the City of Calgary trail network, and Fish Creek Provincial Park.

While IOGC is unable to accept applications directly, we will be requesting student applications from the Federal Student Work Experience Program - Canada.ca (FSWEP) inventory on April 7. 

The 3 FSWEP eligibility criteria for students are:
1) youโ€™re registered as a full-time student in a secondary or post-secondary accredited academic institution (this includes persons with disabilities considered to have full-time status by their academic institution, and participants in adult secondary-level education and retraining programs under the authority of an accredited academic institution)
2) you meet the minimum age requirement in the province or territory of work
3) youโ€™ll return to full-time studies in the next academic term, or if youโ€™re in your final year of studies, you must have been previously employed under either the Federal Student Work Experience Program, the Co-op/Internship Program or the Research Affiliate Program
