Post Content: There is a fundraiser event for the Calgary Academy Society to help build a new park. We are reaching out to see if AU Arts students would be interested in participating in the event's silent auction.
How it works: Participating students submit one piece of art of any kind (painting, drawing, photography, sculpture, digital art, writing, crafts, etc.) Each piece will be displayed and auctioned during the event. Proceeds from each sale will be split: one part will go to the Calgary Academy Society's park project, and the other will go back to the artist; the artist will also be publicly recognized for their work at the event. It is a great chance for students to show their creativity, get exposure, earn money from their work and help a good cause in the community all at the same time. Event details: Date: (TBD) - We have two dates in mind: November 26 or December 3rd.
Submission deadline: November 20th; we will consider late submissions depending on the number of cases.
