When: June 18th - 22nd, 2025
Where: Various venues around downtown Calgary
Role: We are seeking to fill over 300 volunteer positions across a wide variety of roles, which include door, bartending, driving, setup, teardown, merch sales, production etc. Over 13 crews to choose from! This year, we are in need of more volunteers for our billet and transportation crews.
Transportation Crew: Volunteers 25 years or older with a non-GDL license are needed to drive our rented vehicles to help Sled Island artists get around town, including airport trips, pick-ups/drop-offs before and after shows. There are many available shifts throughout each day of the festival.
Billet Crew: Our billet crew graciously hosts out-of-town artists in their homes during the festival. Volunteers on this crew will earn a free Discovery Pass, with a limit of one per household. Please note that additional screening will take place to assess the suitability of the volunteer’s space.
Volunteer Requirements: All ages, some crews 18+, some 25+, additional screening required for specific crews
