Description: Join us on Thursday, October 23rd at 6:00 PM - 7:00 PM for a special walking tour of the exhibition LOOP&PARALLEL at the Kiyooka Ohe Arts Centre. This experience offers visitors the chance to hear directly from the exhibition’s curator and several participating artists as they share insights into their creative processes, inspirations, and connections to KOAC’s founders Katie Ohe and Harry Kiyooka.
Together, we’ll walk through Harry Kiyooka’s commemorative studio space and explore the exhibition’s vibrant interplay of form, gesture, and playful abstraction. Gain a deeper appreciation of the works by KOAC founders Harry Kiyooka and Katie Ohe, alongside contemporary works by Chris Cran, Rhys Douglas Farrell, Sinéad Ludwig-Burgess, Joanne MacDonald, and Kristine Zingeler while enjoying the unique opportunity to connect with some of the voices behind the art.

*** This is a free event, but please note that capacity is limited in the studio/gallery space so registration to reserve your spot is required.
Visitors can park in the parking lot on Horizon View Road, and walk down the gravel pathway towards the studio spaces. Follow the signage to our exhibition space.
The Kiyooka Ohe Art Centre is not accessible by Calgary Transit, so visitors will need to arrange their own transportation to the site. Parking is available on Horizon View Road. Please note that our pathways are primarily gravel, which may be challenging for wheelchairs, walkers, or strollers. If you have any questions about accessibility or would like to discuss accommodations, we encourage you to reach out in advance—we’ll do our best to support your visit.
