Post Content: Applications are now open for the 2025 Icelandic National League of North America Artist Residency Award. The award is open to Icelandic artists, to artists with Icelandic heritage, and artists of any nationality working on projects about Iceland, its people, landscape, and history. Emerging and established artists of all disciplines are encouraged to apply. Please reach out to the Buttermaker House about types of work spaces available.

A total of $3000 in funding will be available to be shared between 1-3 successful applicants. The funding is intended to cover the cost of accommodations at the Buttermakerโ€™s House. Additional costs for materials, travel, and food are the responsibility of the artist.

Application requires a one-page project description, a CV, and 150 word statement about the connection of the project to Iceland. Applications close November 30th. Applicants will be notified by January 30th, 2026.
