Post Content: Ready to meet Up-and-Coming Design & Construction Industry Students?
This year’s competition will once again incorporate real products from a select group of Manufacturer Sponsors with insights and guidance from Design Industry Sponsors for a real Client’s project. When the Project is revealed at the Kick-off & Table Talk Event, it will be an amazing opportunity for all of our students.
CSC Ignite provides 4 different events for networking, contributes to building lasting relationships within the Design & Construction Industry, and ends in the recognition of up-and-coming local design talent!
§ Kick-off & Table Talk Event: Thursday, February 5, 2026, Hosted by SAIT Main Campus, Connector Lab
§ Competition Day 1: Saturday, February 7, 2026, Location TBC
§ Competition Day 2: Sunday, February 8, 2026, Location TBC
§ Meeting & Awards’ Presentations: Tuesday, February 24, 2026, Hosted by CSC at Hotel Blackfoot

§ Competition Committee Members: will support in arranging venues, setting up and taking down the event materials, collecting sponsors, facilitating the various groups within the committee, help where needed in the planning and executing of the multi-day event.
§ Volunteer Coordinators: will solicit and coordinate mentors and judges, share criteria and coach mentors, create schedules for mentors and judges, will need to be at the full event to assist with volunteers, assist with food, provide potential resources to students for product information and details.

lined up and ready to work!
§ Mentors: will attend the Kickoff Event on February 5, 2026, and commit one weekend (February 7 & 8, 2026) for meeting with students
§ Judge Panel Chair: arranges a Judges’ seminar ,shares presentations, shares criteria, collects results from judges, tabulates results
§ Judges: will remain incognito, will attend a Judges’ seminar about the judging process, will review and grade the various submissions and vote on any tied submissions
§ Photographer: will attend a portion of each day of the event from the Kickoff Event to the Awards’ Gala
§ CSC February Meeting & Awards’ Presentation Committee Members: will arrange for venue, food,
Speaker, setup, program, gallery of student submissions, etc. to celebrate the clients’ and the students’
efforts
§ Sponsors: various opportunities coming soon for Manufacturer Sponsorship, Design Industry
