Post Content: Bethany Riverview (SE) is looking for volunteers who enjoy connecting and interacting with seniors. The Opening Minds through Art program is a facilitated, evidence-based, intergenerational art program for people living with dementia. Each volunteer is paired with one resident, who is the artist, to create beautiful pieces of abstract art. The program's goal is to build bridges across age and cognitive barriers through art. Support and guidance are provided by the program facilitators. The program runs every Thursday for 9 weeks as of April 9/26.
