JUNIOR/SENIOR DESIGNER – AMOS PEWTER
Since 1974, the artisans at Amos Pewter have been handcrafting original designs that have brought the touch of pewter world-wide. Rooted in a strong tradition of artisanship and high standards, we strive every day to move our work forward with fresh, new designs and technical innovation. As we celebrate our 50th year of creation and customer service, we are excited to welcome a Junior or Senior Designer to join our Creative Team. Are you energized by the idea of working on a team to conceive, create and produce new designs that will charm and intrigue customers? If so, we would love to talk to you.

A day in the life of a Junior Designer might include:
• Meeting with the Creative Team to brainstorm new designs and products.
• Sketching ideas for a new product design to present to the Team.
• Sculpting the model for a new design.
• Working with the Production Team to work out details of bringing a new design to production readiness.
• Coming up with new and innovative solutions to design and production challenges

A Senior Designer’s day might also include:
• Directing other team members in preparing a design for production.
• Creating digital 3D models to develop product designs.
• Sourcing components to use in new designs.
• Assembling a product mockup.

We would be excited to consider you as a Junior Designer if you:
• Are able to create highly representational renderings of proposed products with your strong drawing and sketching skills.
• Know your way around Photoshop and Illustrator.
• Have an eagerness to face challenges and learn new skills.
• Agree that attention to detail can elevate a product to “exceptional”.
• Would be enthusiastically described as reliable, dedicated, flexible, organized and a team player by your previous employer.
• Demonstrate professionalism and a positive attitude at all times.

If you also:
• Have a very sharp eye for detail and high quality standards.
• Can fabricate, shape and solder metal.
• Understand and appreciate the importance of brand identity.
• Are excited about helping lead Amos Pewter to the next level of product design.
