Post Content: CASN is holding its 2024 nursing education conference in Calgary at the Westin Calgary hotel, starting the evening of Sunday, May 26 with a networking reception (6-8 p.m.) and all day Monday, May 27 and Tuesday, May 28. We are seeking two (2) student volunteers to attend the conference to provide support and assistance to several Indigenous Elders who will be at the conference. Support includes (but is not limited to) helping them to find and walk between rooms, bringing them food/refreshments, ensuring that they are comfortable, and coordinating conference attendees who request to meet with the Elders to obtain cultural care during the conference.
We will provide complimentary registration for students to attend the conference, which includes breakfast, lunch and refreshments on both days, and appetizers during the networking reception on the Sunday evening.
