My aim as a photographer is to share narratives and reflect upon the world in a positive manner. I am constantly inspired by my surroundings and those who inhabit such. My photography practice is both a vehicle for my adventures or travel and acts as a personal visual diary where I seek to story tell and document what ever catches my eye. Through photography I believe I have a greater intimacy as it acts as a bridge connecting myself to the various people and places I find interesting.
Much like how our memory alters reality, my photography is not necessarily literal documentation of what is in front of my camera. Instead my work often becomes idealized moments in time, focusing solely on the beauty of a person, place or object. The result ends up being similar to that of a fond or cherished memory.
